Random Acts of Writing
Random Acts of Writing (R.A.W.) is a private literary magazine in Scotland. It is published twice a year in print only. The editor accepts short stories of 2,000 words or less, some poetry and haiku. The editor prefers email submissions yet also accepts submissions by mail. R.A.W. is a fresh magazine that creates a place for unheard and established writers to share their works.

SNReview (Starry Night Review)
The SNReview is a privately run, online journal that publishes quarterly. The most recent editions have also been offered in print. The editor accepts poetry, fiction, and non-fiction up to 7000 words, through email submissions only. The contributors are a mix of both established writers and newcomers. The material that is published here would be classified as "literary" rather than genre. SNReview has been published online since 1999.
